"I warn my centre-back 'I'm not hanging back' and that I'm just going to continue running.

"The movement is what I'm after. It's good fun."

Along with Cisse's 6 scores on debut, Stephen Ireland has scored 8 in 3 appearances for Wythenshawe, while George Boyd scored five on his debut match and Lescott, a defender by trade, scored a hat-trick in one game as a striker.

The team are leading of the Premier Division with 3 wins from three and a GD of plus nineteen.

Paul Barrow, thirty-eight, who features on the flank for Collegiate OB, faced ex- Latics defender Maynor Figueroa on the weekend - and had to tell his nine-year-old boy who Emile Heskey was.

"We literally have not stopped chatting about it - I was calling my mum and sibling on the journey home.

"The opponents were all really nice, shaking our hands after the game - it was like facing a group of normal guys.

"Now we are eager for the return fixture."
